I made the mix myself =D!

I use the monikers “uke-lady” for my musical endeavours, and “uke-ladeejay” when I mix music. My sister, girltarist, gave me the nickname since I can play the ukulele along with some other instruments. I took it upon myself to pun it up when I mixed for the first time XD. Aren’t we hilarious?

I’m going to compile all the “You’re Beautiful” chords I make here, instead of just adding new posts.

I was bored and I love “미남이시네요 Minami Shineyo (You’re Beautiful/Handsome)”, so I found out the guitar chords to these songs by playing them over and over again. I’m pretty sure they are right. I’m open to any corrections!

Being a Customer Support Analyst (fancy position name for 1st-level Helpdesk), with my team, we basicallly weed out the easy-to-fix problems and raise awareness to the higher levels of support through problem tickets. Therefore, we get a wide variety of calls from the computer illiterate to the technically sound.

So, when I got this email from a co-worker a few weeks ago and I thought it was HILARIOUS:

The following are a number of transcribed conversations to technical support departments:

Tech support: What kind of computer do you have?
Christine: A white one…

Customer:Hi, this is Maureen. I can’t get my diskette out.
Tech support: Have you tried pushing the button?
Customer: Yes, sure, it’s really stuck.

I was shocked that “The Virus” did not make the cut! (What I remember as a) VGA cable plug in Simon Lewis’ (Christopher Redman) hand is what put my 8-year-old-self off computers until high school…TRAUMATIZED ME FOR LIFE.
I just found out that kid (who is now, 29) was recently (or still is) on “CSI: Miami”…oh how I love thee IMDB!

The ironic thing is, I’m an I.T. Management major. (Analyze that psychology!)

I AM SUCH A NERD, BUT I LOVE EVERYTHING FINAL FANTASY VII! I was just randomly checking when “Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete” was coming out on Blu-ray on Wikipedia, and to my surprise, they finally set the release dates!

Japan: April 16, 2009
North America: June 2, 2009 [Pre-order at Amazon.ca]

I practically drooled and had a heart-attack while I was watching the 2 HD trailers on Youtube. The graphics are AWESOME. Do you know how detailed the movie is? I can see the freckles on Reno, that’s how detailed it is!

If you don’t agree with me, watch the trailers below, look me straight in the eyes, and tell me this movie isn’t worth the buy.

If you want another piece of FFVII: ACC trivia, Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance collaborated with famous J-Rocker, 氷室京介 Himuro Kyosuke! The movie’s new ending theme is called, “Safe and Sound”, and it sounds very MCR. Click here for the website! It sucks that I don’t understand Japanese. This paragraph would have been ~~Gerard~~ WAY more interesting. XD

Cracked!

The Cadbury Creme egg “cracked” yesterday! When I mean “cracked”, I mean “metal egg opened length-wise”. I sort of hoped it was made out of anything but metal (to have a bigger impact), but I guess it would have been a bit messy. Even though I didn’t get to see it open, I did see the aftermath. TOTALLY anticlimactic! There are only 3 yellow squirts of paint surrounding the opening. All-in-all, it was a great run while it lasted (except for the disappointing finale). I hope other advertisements at Dundas Square will be as interesting as this one.

I’ll take pictures of the billboard for the sake of documentation. For now, here’s a screencap of the billboard from the webcam:
